Canned Blueberries

Question: If I don't have fresh or frozen blueberries, but have canned ones, how do I substitute those in the Easy Blueberry Muffin Recipe? After draining, just substitute one-for-one? Thanks.

Hi Vicki,
I've seen store bought blueberry muffin mixes with canned blueberries and they drain and then use them one for one.

If your using home canned do they have sugar added? It might be toosweet then, depending on your preference.

So, I'd try substituting the canned blueberries one for one after draining them and take out a bit of the sugar the next time if it's too sweet.
