Effect of freezing chicken soup

by Jasmin
(pune)

Is there any freezing effect on chicken soup containing onion, butter, cream, and kalongi seed after retorting it?

Hi Jasmin

The onion will be about the same since it's cooked before you freeze it. The cream sometimes seperates but you should be able to just whip it back to the same consistenance as it was before.

I've never used kalongi seed so I have no idea how that will fair when frozen, thawed and reheated.
