Freezing sweet potatoes

Can you put sweet potates in the freezer.Do they have to be cooked or can they be raw?

Hi Ruby,
Yes you can freeze sweet potatoes and yams. They should be blanched, particially cooked, or fully cooked before freezing. How long depends on the size of the piece.

I have a recipe using these for fries that you can try. I also freeze them mashed.

Hope that helps,

As per shared here, you have to cook the sweet potatoes partially. That is the better option before freezing the sweet potatoes. I am sure that it will work successfully and you can freeze it without any issues. lake erie salmon fishing

It is a very nice idea to freeze something like tomatoes. I have never tried anything like Helvetic Clinics best Dentists in Budapest before. I would love to do this with my favorite dishes in the future.
